Throughout the beginning stages, live videos were dismissed as some kind of fad for young and savvy marketers to get in some face time with their customers. But this is no longer the case, as the amount of video content on the internet keeps skyrocketing, and the data suggests that if you are not considering the use of live videos as part of your marketing strategies, then you may quickly find yourself without any second mortgage clients.

You will be surprised to learn that over 70% of North America’s internet traffic during peak hours, is composed of video views throughout the various entertainment platforms. The validity of this phenomenon is further supported by data from Cisco which indicates that by 2021, 13% of internet traffic will be in the form of live internet videos.

Live videos provide brokers with an opportunity to communicate openly with their customers and prospects, as opposed to communicating exclusively via email or phone. It makes it possible for your audience to attach a face to the voice, and engage with the broker in a more transparent and authentic way, which wouldn’t have been possible with most forms of traditional communication. As such, it makes it easy for brokers to build trust with their respective target audiences.

Live videos are more personal

In this industry, prospects have very high standards when it comes to trusting brokers, and the moment you give them a reason to doubt you is the moment you lose the lead. With live videos, however, brokers are able to come out in a more personal manner, as they will be communicating in real time without the use of any scripts. They appear as genuine as they possibly can, and this makes it easy to build trust and also to establish a stronger human connection with the audience. The audience will see the personality of the broker, and this is likely to encourage them to continue communicating with the broker.

Live Videos are exclusive

With live videos, the audience will get exclusive information only when they tune in live during the streaming. If you had special announcements or offers, anyone who misses the live video streaming will not have access to it, unless you choose to have a replay.

It is a great way to treat your audience to exclusive offers and deals that are not yet available to the masses. With such exclusivity, the audience will value the fact that you care about them and they will be more inclined to tune in all the time so that they can take advantage of the special goodies you have for them.

Allows for immediate feedback

One of the greatest benefits a broker will ever get from live video streaming, is the immediate feedback. When hosting live videos, brokers can initiate real time interaction with the audience to get their sentiments and know exactly how they feel about your presentation.
